Front Desk Receptionist / Private Practice

We are seeking a qualified BILINGUAL Spanish Front Desk Receptionist for an immediate opening in Elizabeth, NJ with experience in general dentistry. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate, enthusiastic and self-motivated team member to join our quality focused clinic! The Front Desk Receptionist will perform tasks that support the daily management of the practice in regards to reception management, patient management, records management, clinical responsibilities, and office participation.

We offer the following compensation:

  • $15 – $21 per hour (based on experience)

We also use the latest in sterilization techniques recommended by the American Dental Association. Other new technologies include the latest in cosmetic and implant dentistry. We also we strive to make our office as efficient, comfortable and convenient as possible. Our office is a new state of the art facility which is staffed by a professional, caring, well trained team. We know that people do not necessarily look forward to their dental visits, so we strive to make the experience as easy and as comfortable as possible.

Responsibilities:

  • Take payments, answer phones
  • Schedule appointments
  • Review the office for a neat, professional appearance and make necessary changes
  • Answer calls before the third ring at all times.
  • Greet and welcome patients and visitors to the practice
  • Check in/out patients according to office protocol, verifying and updating patient information
  • Confirm the next day’s appointments according to protocol and patient preferences
  • Gather and accurately record insurance information from patients
  • Record chart entries from phone or in-person conversations when appropriate

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bilingual Spanish REQUIRED
  • Persistence to achieve goals and hard work STRONGLY valued
  • Vision to provide quality care required
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and multi-tasking skills with strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness, initiative, and results-oriented capabilities
  • Ability to work in a shifting and fast-paced environment
