Dentist / Outpatient (Clinic)

We are seeking a qualified Dentist for an immediate opening. We are a not-for profit healthcare provider committed to bringing quality, affordable primary care and preventive services to the communities we serve with over 12 locations. In addition to primary care, we offer pediatric care, mental health, and dental services, as well as complementary alternative medicine such as chiropractic care. Many of our locations have labs, x-ray equipment and a pharmacy under one roof, saving patients time and money.

We offer the following compensation package:

  • $150,000-$160,000 Starting Annual Salary, based on experience

Dentist / Outpatient (Clinic)

Job Responsibilities

As a Dentist you will be responsible for care planning and implementation of the primary care service delivery to patients per health care plan and written protocols. Provide primary, secondary and tertiary care, including counseling and referral within multidisciplinary team.

Additional responsibilities for the Dentist include:

  • Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm
  • Provide necessary dental services to patients of Palms Medical Group within his/her scope of practice in accordance with stated policies, procedures and protocols of PMG.
  • Identify him/herself as a dentist and wear identification badge at all times.
  • Exhibit professionalism when greeting and treating patients in the dental clinic.
  • Provide routine and emergency dental services, including diagnosis and treatment plans, general restorative procedures, crown and bridge construction, removable prosthetics, uncomplicated endodontics and minor oral surgery.
  • Educate, counsel and guide patients on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle habits.
  • Conduct follow-up patient care.
  • Administer and prescribe anesthetics and medication.
  • Refer patients for specialty care to other clinic programs or outside agencies as appropriate.
  • Initiate and interpret x-ray and lab studies.

Responsible for coverage

  • Be available after hours to treat or triage dental emergencies as determined necessary.

Job Requirements

We are looking for dedicated and professional Dentist who are committed to providing exceptional patient care and service. It is also important that you are highly organized and that you demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Specific qualifications for the Dentist role include:

  • Graduate of an accredited dental school with a D.D.S or D.M.D. degree
  • Current and Valid dental license in the State of Florida
  • Current BLS (basic life support) Certification
