Registered Dental Hygienist / Private Practice

We are seeking a qualified Dental Hygienist for a full time position at our practice in Louisville, KY! As a healthcare provider, you will be responsible for creating a high standard of preventative care. You must be skilled in communicating to patients the importance of their oral health and how you can help them. You’ll work hand in hand with our doctor in uncovering patients wants and need, and educating them on how we can help. You should have deep knowledge of relevant health and safety rules and a good eye for oral diseases and anomalies. If you share our values and our passion for people, we would love to meet you!

Work schedule:

  • M: 8:30am to 4pm
  • T: 7am to 6pm
  • W: 7am to 6pm
  • TH: 7am to 4pm
  • F: 7am to 3pm

  • Establish excellent standard of care and patient experience
  • Understand patients wants, needs, goals as it relates to their oral health and smile
  • Build Relationships with patients
  • Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
  • Identify and treat conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontal disease
  • Educate patients of all ages of the importance of their oral health and proper home care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques)
  • Educate patients on how we can improve their health or smile – i.e. fluoride, periodontal treatment, bite guard, sealants, whitening, Invisalign, etc.


  • Associate (Preferred)
  • Dentrix: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Registered Dental Hygienist (Preferred)
  • Nitrous Oxide Certification (Preferred)
