Registered Nurse RN / Substance Abuse / Inpatient


We are seeking a qualified Substance Abuse Registered Nurse RN for an immediate opening.   • $31-$34  based on experience
  • 5k Sign on Bonus
  • Shift differential: Evening – $2.50/hour; Overnight -$3.50/hour
  • Weekend differential: $3.50/hour
    •  3:00pm-11:00pm
    • 11:00pm-7:30pm
    • Friday-Sunday 11:00pm-11:00pm
  • 3-4 weeks of vacation
  • 12 paid holidays

Registered Nurse RN / Inpatient / Behavioral Health


Job Responsibilities

As a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse RN, you must have a strong desire to help individuals with mental, and behavioral issues. Responsibilities for the Behavioral Health Registered Nurse RN include:

  • Recognizes when to consult with a supervisor, co-worker, or other affected parties prior to making a decision
  • Becomes familiar with Care Management and program policies & procedures
  • Completes documentation in all relevant EHRs progress by the end of the business day
  • Attends in-services, meetings and trainings as assigned and scheduled, keeps mandatory trainings up-to-date
  • Updates or develops comprehensive person-centered Integrated Care Plans for members on caseload based on client choice, assessment, and review of medical records
  • Monitors the effectiveness of Integrated Care Plans and makes changes as needed to facilitate positive health outcomes and prudent use of resources
  • Ensures that services provided include all appropriate individuals in the member’s Integrated Care Team including primary care providers, specialists, home service providers, family caregivers and others as indicated by the member
  • Provides care management services including but not limited to: planning, implementation and monitoring of health-related quality improvement plans, follow up after hospitalization and medication reconciliation telephonically and/or in home or community locations

Job Requirements

We are looking for dedicated and professional Substance Abuse Registered Nurse RN who is committed to providing exceptional patient care and service. It is also important that you are highly organized and that you demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Specific qualifications for the Substance Abuse Registered Nurse RN role include:

  • RN License (required)
  • Associate’s Degree in Nursing (required)
  • Must be committed to consumer empowerment, growth, human rights, and community integration
  • Must be well organized with good interpersonal and verbal skills
  • Must have familiarity with internet, word processing and email systems
  • Must have 2 years’ experience in the human services field
  • Must maintain current RN license and certifications
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable car available for working hours
